Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we are seeking an experienced Band 5 A&E Nurse to join our team.
Salary and Benefits
We offer competitive pay rates, starting from £18.19 per hour, up to £39.48 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive excellent benefits, including access to Care4Carers, first sight of agency nursing shifts across multiple trusts, next-day payroll, block bookings in your favourite locations, revalidation support, and 24/7/365 service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Band 5 A&E Nurse, your key responsibilities will include providing constant monitoring and care for patients, actively supporting emergency admissions and their families, assessing and prioritizing patient/client requirements, and communicating clinical information effectively. You will also be responsible for adhering to the NMC professional Code of Conduct and taking blood/fitting a cannula, undertaking patient observations as needed throughout the shift.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with at least 2 years post-graduate experience and 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years. You will also need to pass an enhanced background check.

You will have quick thinking abilities, patience, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. You will also have excellent attention to detail, a methodical approach to tasks, and the ability to work well under pressure. Additionally, you will have empathy and understanding, a flexible attitude, a desire to learn and improve, active listening skills, and the ability to use a computer competently.
