About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our occupational health and safety department, you will be responsible for managing on-site teams and collaborating with cross-functional groups to ensure compliance with health and safety laws, guidelines, and company policies.

With a strong background in risk assessment and mitigation, you will analyze data and provide leadership with information to make informed safety-related decisions. You will also develop, implement, and maintain safety training programs, ergonomics initiatives, and prevention programs to improve the safety culture within our fulfillment center.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of qualification in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level. They will also possess relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation and advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Manage on-site teams and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with health and safety laws, guidelines, and company policies.
  2. Analyze data and provide leadership with information to make safety-related decisions.
  3. Develop, implement, and maintain safety training programs, ergonomics initiatives, and prevention programs to improve the safety culture.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a dynamic work environment.
