We are seeking a skilled and passionate Culinary Artist to join our team at Richmond Villages Wood Norton. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing nutritious and delicious meals tailored to their diverse dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities- Cater to residents across the Village, preparing and cooking food in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
- Be aware of residents', villagers', and Wellness Spa clients' dietary needs, responding to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
- Be involved in the preparation and serving of meals on the hotplate, as required.
- Ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable (high risk) goods.
- Ensure a welcoming, safe, and compliant environment for our residents to dine in.
- Help maintain a clean and hygienic working area.
We are looking for someone with a passion for food, experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements. An understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally with an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent, is also essential.
What We Offer- A competitive salary of £12.90 per hour, with a £1,000 welcome bonus.
- A permanent, full-time position with 40 hours per week across 5 days, with shifts between 07:00-19:30 and alternative weekends.
