About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Richmond Villages Wood Norton. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing nutritious, delicious meals tailored to diverse dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cater to residents across the Village, preparing and cooking food in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
- Be aware of residents', villagers', and Wellness Spa clients' dietary needs, responding to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
- Prepare and serve meals on the hotplate, as required.
- Ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable (high risk) goods.
- Ensure a welcoming, safe, and compliant environment for our residents to dine in.
- Help maintain a clean and hygienic working area.
Requirements:
- Passionate about food, with experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally with an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent.
- Open to new ideas, with an innovative yet organized approach to cooking, always adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service.
- Enjoy working with others, working together to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.90, with a £1,000 welcome bonus.
- Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, across 5 days, with shifts between 07:00-19:30 and alternative weekends.
