Culinary Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing nutritious, delicious meals tailored to diverse dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cater to residents across the Village, preparing and cooking food in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Be aware of residents', villagers', and Wellness Spa clients' dietary needs, responding to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
  • Prepare and serve meals on the hotplate, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and compliant environment for our residents to dine in.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic working area, adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service.
Requirements:
  • Passionate about food, with experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures, with an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent.
  • Innovative yet organized approach to cooking, with a focus on delivering an excellent dining experience at each meal.
