Conveyancing Administration Manager

This is a key role within our Residential Property department, responsible for managing the admin team and overseeing administrative functions to ensure accuracy. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years' experience working within a conveyancing department and possess excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop the admin team to provide an exceptional support service to clients
- Train and develop existing and new staff members
- Recruit new team members within the admin team
- Prepare agenda, minutes, and data for departmental meetings
- Manage the diary and scheduling for the Head of Department
- Oversee the billing process each month
- Conduct administration meetings and provide feedback to the Head of Department
- Prepare for departmental business development meetings on a monthly basis and provide feedback to the Head of Department and Business Relationships Manager
- Liaise with clients and agents to maintain relationships to the highest standards
- Receive and check mortgage offers, liaise with clients and lenders on enquiries
- Chase clients for deposits and signed papers, and prepare files for exchange
- Handle all post-completion matters up to post-registrations
- Close abortive files
- Occasionally create quotes and open files during peak periods
- Draft and send out papers on sales
- Administer relevant transaction documentation within the department
- Create and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Conduct audits of information held on internal systems
- Adhere to internal and external compliance requirements
- A minimum of 4 years' previous experience of Conveyancing Administration is essential
- Team management experience
