Child Welfare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Specialist to join our MASH team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and their families.
Your primary focus will be on enhancing the timeliness and quality of responses to children and families in need of safeguarding. To achieve this, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to build and improve the team's capacity and capabilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social worker to contribute to shaping our Children Social Care workforce, which is strong and growing. You will have completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and hold a recognised Social Work qualification and a current Social Work England Registration.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with children and their families to safeguard and promote their welfare.
- Contribute to building and improving the team's capacity and capabilities.
- Enhance the timeliness and quality of responses to children and families in need of safeguarding.
