As a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Technician, you will be part of a dynamic Technical team that drives growth and excellence. Reporting to the Ceded Re Recoveries Manager, you will take a proactive approach to reinsurance claims recoveries and premium payments, working closely with various teams and establishing strong relationships with reinsurance brokers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of reinsurance purchased by the organisation
  • Assist in the quarterly reinsurance close as per the organisation's procedures manual
  • Author claim and premium transactions on relevant systems
  • Support the Outwards Reinsurance team on complex RI risks processing and transactions

Requirements

Previous experience as a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Technician or Reinsurance Technician from a Broker or Insurer is essential. You will have the ability to fully support the reinsurance recoveries manager, teach and instruct junior team members, and possess working knowledge of non-marine and marine classes of business, as well as non-proportional, proportional, and facultative reinsurance processing.
