About the Role:

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join their team in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Door Entry Systems.

  • Install, configure, and commission CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and Door Entry systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of existing security systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Perform on-site surveys and risk assessments to determine the most suitable security system installations.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation of their security systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role, with a focus on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Door Entry Systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of various security systems, including both analog and IP-based systems.
  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security equipment from different manufacturers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and specifications.
  • Full UK driving license is essential.

Desirable:

  • Relevant certifications in security system installation and maintenance.
  • Experience working with integrated security solutions and network-based systems.
  • Knowledge of current regulations and standards related to security system installations.

Package:

  • Salary: 37,000 - 45,000 Basic DOE
