Primary School Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are working with a successful 2-form entry Primary school in Richmond to appoint a teaching assistant to support a child with ASD/ADHD. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a child with Year 6 lessons and help them stay on task
  • Work with the experienced SENCO to develop strategies to support the child's needs
  • Provide reliable and diligent support to the child and the school team

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in any subject or Level 3 qualification in childcare or education
  • High standard of English and Maths
  • Previous experience working in a Primary school setting or with children with Special Needs is advantageous but not essential

What We Offer:

  • Full training provided
  • Opportunity to gain experience ahead of teacher training or in-school experience before further training to become an education psychologist
  • Competitive daily rate of £90-£95 depending on experience
