The RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Science Educator who is qualified to teach Chemistry, Physics, and Biology up to Key Stage 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a significant impact on our students' exploration and understanding of the sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring and informative lessons across Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and enhance student engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, using data to adapt teaching strategies and support individual achievement.
- Contribute to the development and execution of departmental initiatives and curriculum enhancement.
- Participate actively in staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and scientific learning.
- Organize and oversee science-related activities and projects that extend learning beyond the classroom.
- Holds a relevant degree and a PGCE (or equivalent) with a strong background in Science, ideally in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
- Exhibits excellent classroom management skills and a passion for teaching Science.
- Adopts a systematic approach to teaching and learning, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in lesson delivery.
