MHI-EMEA is the European-based entity of MHI, with a business group in London dedicated to marketing, sales, and after-sales services of MCO's products. MCOSA, located in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, provides primary responsibility for after-sales support for customers in the EMEA region.

II. Job Responsibilities:

As a Service Engineer, you will contribute to MCO's success by performing the following key activities:

  1. Providing engineering services to customers, including first aid in emergency situations, technical advisory services, and consultation on service schemes for new projects.
  2. Communicating with MCO and MCO business partners to provide customer requests and implicit needs, and to report customer feedback in a timely manner.
  3. Supporting MCO engineers in their job execution by providing necessary technical information and advice.

III. Geographical Area in Charge:

EMEA Region, mainly European countries, Africa (Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria), and Turkey.

IV. Required Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a design engineer of centrifugal compressors or steam turbines, or 2 years as an application engineer of centrifugal compressors and steam turbines in the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industry, or 3 years as a field engineer of centrifugal compressors or steam turbines.
  2. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree required.
  3. Good communication skills with a superior customer focus, fluent in English and local languages.
  4. Proficient experience and exposure to national and international engineering codes and standards, especially API standards.
  5. Willingness to participate in continuous improvement processes, including lessons learned, Kaizen events, and Six Sigma studies.
  6. Relevant experience with Petrochemical and Oil & Gas clients, products, industry standards, and the following:
  7. General policy QCD management.
  8. Quick response to clients.
  9. Application of experienced technology.
  10. Design enhancement of minor parts based on standard design application experience.
  11. Design enhancement of major key parts based on experience with moderate risk control.
  12. Ability to travel (both domestic and international).
