We're looking for someone who is passionate about the construction industry and has experience of delivering high-quality education and training.

This role involves working closely with colleagues to develop and deliver innovative trade skills courses that meet the needs of local employers.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £30,427 and £42,136 per annum, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • To design, develop, and deliver high-quality trade skills courses that meet the needs of local employers
  • To work closely with colleagues to develop and implement new trade skills initiatives
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
  • To contribute to the college's Ofsted-rated good status through excellent teaching and learning practices

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in carpentry and joinery (e.g. HNC/D or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate qualification in education or a related field (e.g. PGCE or equivalent)
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Experience of delivering high-quality education and training
