Nurse (Part Time) - Physical Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Health Nurse to join our team at The Woodmill, a 18-bed rehabilitation service for women with complex emotional and mental health needs.
As a Physical Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in leading and coordinating the physical health needs of our service users, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess the physical health needs of service users, identifying areas for improvement and developing interventions to address these needs.
- Work collaboratively with primary health, developing and maintaining links with GP practices and other physical health departments.
- Develop and support physical health interventions used in the clinical area, using knowledge of current best evidence-based practice.
- Engage actively in practice development, evaluation, and audit activities relevant to physical healthcare and/or service areas.
- A relevant nursing qualification and registration.
- Phlebotomy skills.
- Strong team-working skills.
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate.
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice.
