Join Our Team as a Stop Smoking Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a Stop Smoking Support Specialist. This role will involve delivering tailored, structured support services to smokers who wish to quit or reduce harm through harm reduction strategies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and possess certification in smoking cessation, as well as knowledge of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and prescription medications for smoking cessation. They will also have excellent communication and counselling skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities: **

  • Deliver smoking cessation support services to clients in various settings, including one-on-one sessions, group sessions, and telephone support.
  • Provide guidance on NRT and recommend suitable options for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and stay up-to-date with smoking cessation developments.
  • Participate in events and campaigns to promote the service and encourage new clients to access it.

**Requirements:**

  • Certification in smoking cessation and knowledge of NRT and prescription medications for smoking cessation.
  • Strong communication and counselling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
