Salary InformationWe offer an hourly rate that's competitive and reflects your experience and qualifications, ranging from £8 to £12 per hour.
Job DescriptionAs a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene is essential. You'll demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, record-keeping abilities, and attention to detail.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures
- Assisting new starters with equipment usage
- Cleaning the kitchen area, including appliances and equipment
- Preparing and serving meals
A NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation is highly desirable, or the willingness to study for one. Great communication skills, a kind and considerate attitude, and the ability to follow recipes are essential.
