Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene is essential. You'll demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, record-keeping abilities, and attention to detail.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures
  • Assisting new starters with equipment usage
  • Cleaning the kitchen area, including appliances and equipment
  • Preparing and serving meals
Required Skills and Qualifications

A NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation is highly desirable, or the willingness to study for one. Great communication skills, a kind and considerate attitude, and the ability to follow recipes are essential.
