Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is between £47,000 and £58,000 per annum, reflecting the level of experience and qualifications required.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Therapist to help develop and lead a newly established substance misuse service based in West Manchester.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising staff, supporting the development of the service, and holding a clinical caseload working with adults with trauma, drug, and alcohol addictions, and other mental health presentations.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and support individuals in achieving their recovery goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • HPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist;
  • Previous experience in working with substance misuse, trauma, CBT, and management/supervision;
  • A strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches and evidenced-based interventions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners.
