Accounts Payable Clerk - Central Support Office

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and methodical Accounts Payable Clerk to join our busy Finance team based in our Central support office in Stoke.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure supplier invoices are recorded and matched to appropriate orders using our COINS system.
  • Process sub-contractor payments and invoices, ensuring they have been keyed in correctly and verified by the appropriate people.
  • Process weekly and month-end payment runs and same-day payments, if required.
  • Review, approve and process employee expenses and mileage claims on a weekly basis.
  • Process Sales ledger remittances.
  • Act as an Accounts Payable point of contact for the business, creating good working relationships to proactively manage supplier accounts.
Requirements
  • Highly organised and methodical approach.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is key.
  • A good level of computer skills, particularly with COINS system.
Salary and Benefits

An attractive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 27 days holiday, company pension scheme and discounted healthcare scheme.
