We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Spencer-Richardson. Our client, a well-established and reputable high-end stonework business, is looking for a professional to oversee the successful delivery of private residential and large commercial projects.
The company is known for its exceptional service and unrivalled expertise, and we are looking for someone who shares these values. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with the management team to ensure the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust project plans, ensuring all resources, materials, and labour are efficiently allocated to meet project objectives.
- Support the finance team in developing project budgets and estimates, and continually review financial performance to ensure projects are completed within time and budget.
- Ensure the workshop team is briefed on all project details, technical specifications, and design requirements, and support them in meeting deadlines and exceptional standards of quality.
- Be an inspirational leader to the project team, building positive working relationships, coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Identify and mitigate risk, implementing contingency plans and addressing unforeseen issues as they arise.
- Become a trusted advisor to the client, maintaining communication throughout the project, delivering regular updates, and gaining feedback.
- Be an advocate and passionate leader for the quality of product and craftsmanship, while adhering to industry regulations.
- Streamline processes and procedures to work more efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in a related industry.
- Experience working in the stone manufacturing industry is a huge bonus.
- Knowledge and understanding of delivering project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other relevant records.
- Ability to issue notices, valuations, and similar contract management reports accurately and within deadlines.
- Natural problem solver who can arrive with solutions.
- Competent in PM software for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- A genuine team player with excellent diplomatic communication skills across all colleagues and stakeholders.
