Senior Payroll Assistant Job Description

The Senior Payroll Assistant will provide administrative support to the payroll team, preparing payrolls, managing employee data, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payroll processing. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage email inbox queries from multiple people across the business.
  • Prepare monthly payrolls across multiple entities.
  • Accurately prepare and input payroll data into Sage 50 Cloud Payroll.
  • Administer and calculate staff pay, including overtime, SSP, SMP, pensions, student loans, and other adjustments.
  • Processing mileage deductions into Sage 50 Cloud Payroll.
  • Processing payrolls in line with HMRC legislation and focusing on compliance.
  • Upload contribution files to the pension provider.
  • Cross check/audit monthly payroll entry within the payroll team.
