Payroll Coordinator

About the Job
We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to assist with financial tasks in Gloucester on a temporary basis. This is a three-month fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Process purchase ledger invoices efficiently
- Manage employee expenses with ease
- Match invoices to orders accurately
- Reconcile statements regularly
- Process company credit card transactions securely
- Conduct job costing analysis
- Process supplier payments promptly
- Communicate with suppliers and stakeholders
- Support with month-end procedures
The ideal candidate should have:
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
- Numerical and analytical thinking
- Autonomy to work independently
Bonus skills and qualifications include:
- Experience with M1 or Opera software
- Familiarity with Compleat accounting system
- Knowledge of foreign currencies
- AAT qualification
This role offers a competitive salary and flexible working hours.
Estimated Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
