About the Job

We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to assist with financial tasks in Gloucester on a temporary basis. This is a three-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Process purchase ledger invoices efficiently
  • Manage employee expenses with ease
  • Match invoices to orders accurately
  • Reconcile statements regularly
  • Process company credit card transactions securely
  • Conduct job costing analysis
  • Process supplier payments promptly
  • Communicate with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Support with month-end procedures

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
  • Numerical and analytical thinking
  • Autonomy to work independently

Bonus skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience with M1 or Opera software
  • Familiarity with Compleat accounting system
  • Knowledge of foreign currencies
  • AAT qualification

This role offers a competitive salary and flexible working hours.

Estimated Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
