About the Role

The Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Adult Community Assessment/Review Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing holistic assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Safeguarding investigations to support individuals in achieving their goals and maintaining independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on social care matters, including Mental Capacity Assessments and Safeguarding investigations
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies and policies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification
  • Current registration with Social Work England
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
