We are seeking an Educational Assistant for Challenging Behaviours to join our team at Sennen Education Ltd. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs and a passion for making a difference in their lives.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to providing high-quality education and care to children with complex needs. As an Educational Assistant for Challenging Behaviours, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and other educational staff in delivering effective learning programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs and a proven track record of providing effective support to help them overcome these challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual and group support to students with challenging behaviours.
  • Assisting teachers and other educational staff in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and development.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
  • Qualifications in a relevant field such as education, psychology or social work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a range of benefits including certified CPD courses, a generous referral scheme and full interview preparation and assistance.
