Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Avena Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- To support the management of risks associated with our ISO accreditation, H&S practices, Environmental obligations, GDPR, insurance policies, and project management.
- To develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- To administer and maintain our QHSE systems, audits, and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- To assist with the management of facilities and maintenance at our sites, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- To maintain the standards of service quality via our ISO accreditation, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- To assist with the management of policies and documented processes, ensuring seamless operations.
- To investigate and analyze root causes of customer complaints, administering non-conformance registers and attending meetings.
- Liaising between our team and insurers for incidents and claims such as vehicle accidents, renewals, etc.
- Liaising with our commercial team and customers to support their requests for our compliance pack, managing ad hoc requests for compliance information, and supporting our sales team with compliance queries required for tenders and bids.
- Auditing suppliers to ensure up-to-date supplier information, such as sub-contractor RAMS, insurances, waste documentation, licenses, etc.
The estimated salary for this position is £37,000 per annum, plus a car allowance of £300 per month.
