An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Macallam Resourcing. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future growth of our Private Equity backed water technology firm.
About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Sales Manager to drive sales growth, develop business opportunities, and maintain relationships with clients in the water industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, ideally with expertise in water customers or utilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Project manage and develop sales strategies for growth in specific utilities, water companies, and industrial markets.
- Conduct technical presentations showcasing the benefits and applications of our water treatment products and services.
- Prepare and present proposals and quotations to clients and negotiate terms.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
