Role Overview
Bright Horizons Canterbury Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating engaging activities that promote children's development towards key milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and implement activities tailored to each child's needs and abilities.
- Develop strong relationships with parents and colleagues to ensure a positive and safe environment.
- Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety, adhering to safeguarding protocols.
Requirements
- Full Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential).
- Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, or similar).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements.
