Role Overview

Bright Horizons Canterbury Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating engaging activities that promote children's development towards key milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and implement activities tailored to each child's needs and abilities.
  • Develop strong relationships with parents and colleagues to ensure a positive and safe environment.
  • Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety, adhering to safeguarding protocols.

Requirements

  • Full Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential).
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, or similar).
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements.
