We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the property, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Empty bins and recycling containers, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Dust and sanitize surfaces, including furniture and equipment.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. You will have previous cleaning experience and be able to operate a variety of cleaning equipment. You will also have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues and customers.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate, plus Sunday premium pay. You will also receive 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, and a Defined Contribution pension scheme.

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Part time, 8 hours per week, Monday – Saturday
