Job Description:

The Climate Data Steering Committee Secretariat Head is responsible for accelerating the development of an open data utility for private sector climate transition-related data. Located in London, United Kingdom, this role requires a thought leader with 5-8 years' experience in relevant public policymaking or private data preparer/user roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Show leadership on policy and technical issues arising from climate transition data and disclosures at the international level.
  2. Support engagement with stakeholders, including preparers and users of climate transition data.
  3. Ensure effective communications and outreach on the work of the CDSC and the NZDPU.
Requirements:
  1. A track record of being a thought leader on climate data and disclosure frameworks.
  2. Experience of governance structures and policy communication norms for complex initiatives.
  3. Demonstrated ability to deliver policy-based work underpinned by high-quality analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  4. A track record of engaging on complex policy issues with diverse stakeholders.
