About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a Client Growth and Retention Specialist to join our team in Aylesbury. As a key member of our Commercial Accounts Team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with major clients, driving business growth and retention.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong commercial awareness and the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact between Biffa and major clients, ensuring the implementation of business account plans, service success and contract compliance.
  2. Client Retention and Growth: Foster positive relationships and expand service provisions to retain major clients and achieve the budgeted annual revenue.
  3. Reporting and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive customer reviews and present detailed reports using Power BI, covering aspects such as service success, landfill diversion, weights and financials.
  4. Issue Resolution: Support depots and customer services in addressing site-related issues, including Health and Safety concerns, container changes and the introduction of alternative services.
  5. Debt and Invoicing Management: Maintain customer debt positions in line with contractual commitments, manage invoicing queries within set SLAs and resolve issues causing invoice delays or credit production.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards within the business and industry, staying informed about regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
