We are seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at an established manufacturing business. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse and transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 6 warehouse operatives and 1 driver
  • Ensure the smooth operation of warehousing and transport activities on site
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to meet business needs
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize storage and transportation
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
