About the Role:
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions?
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at Rosebank House, a specialist care home providing independent living skills and social inclusion support.
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver structured activities and assist in the planning of individual and group therapeutic interventions.
You will build strong relationships with service users to encourage participation and empowerment, contributing to the assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of structured activities to measure progression and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and other MDT staff in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans.
- Support service users to achieve their goals and access appropriate services.
- Maintain accurate records and enter details in the service user healthcare records.
Requirements:
- GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2.
- Experience in a similar environment and mental health settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
