Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HGV Night Shift Supervisor to join our team at DHL eCommerce UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within our sortation areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile warehouse operations, including deliveries, holdbay, and bulk/return deliveries.
  • Efficiently manage bulk/return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleet.
  • Support bulk collection customer planning and LGV transport rules and regulations.
  • Supervise Saturday operations and site lockdown.
  • Deploy operational resources effectively in accordance with work area requirements.
  • Achieve or exceed KPI targets in accordance with work area requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a comparable or acting supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of resource management and deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide, receive, and implement operational information and instruction.
  • Good IT skills.
