Salary

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

You will provide comprehensive support with the maintenance of accurate financial records to the Management Accountant and Finance Manager. Key tasks include weekly credit control, liaising with new clients, handling finance queries, and maintaining the CRM system. You will also contribute towards personal and departmental objectives and provide support to the wider Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weekly Credit Control of clients' accounts
  • Liaising with new clients to establish client rapport
  • Handling incoming finance queries and problem solving
  • Creating and sending sales invoices
  • Processing weekly direct debit collection submissions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining the CRM system (Hubspot) and accounting system (Xero)
  • Contributing towards personal and departmental objectives
  • Liaising with the Finance Department team and wider company teams
  • Providing Finance Department support with ad hoc tasks
  • Shredding and storing confidential documentation
Training and Development

You will receive formal training at HWGTA in Worcester, one day a week, combining face-to-face and remote learning. Additional training for functional skills in English and Maths will be undertaken if needed. A Learning and Development Specialist will visit you monthly to set work, monitor development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions. Training will prepare you for your End Point Assessment to gain your Assistant Accountant level 3 qualification.
