Job Summary:

Aviva is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer to join our Cloud team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and identifying areas of improvement to be implemented in line with our technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and identify areas of improvement to be implemented in line with our technology strategy.
  • Work to identify, define, and implement testing improvements across our Cloud Platform.
  • Promote our Engineering Practice and propose innovative solutions or alternative approaches to our test strategy.
  • Act as a Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer at the heart of the technical development of our Platform.

Requirements:

  • Experience with either AWS or Azure technologies and Terraform (consider Google cloud) and running a platform within a large organization (desirable).
  • Confident with communicating with non-technical audiences and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Infrastructure cloud testing experience, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • First-class engineering discipline with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of Application Support and Development processes.

  • Salary between £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
