About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer to join our team at Aviva plc. As a Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement testing strategies for cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, and develop test plans to meet those requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing of cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify and report on testing defects and issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure, and apply that knowledge to improve testing processes and strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure testing, with a strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex testing issues.
  • First-class engineering discipline, with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of application support and development processes, with the ability to apply that knowledge to improve testing processes.

  • A competitive salary between £30,000 - £45,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
