Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer to join our innovative Cloud team at Aviva. As a key member of our technical development team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and identifying areas of improvement to be implemented in line with our technology strategy.

About the Role:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, defining, and implementing testing improvements across our Cloud Platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to promote our Engineering Practice and propose innovative solutions or alternative approaches to our test strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with AWS or Azure technologies and Terraform, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and testing principles.
  • Confident communication skills to liaise with non-technical stakeholders and promote our Engineering Practice.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify areas of improvement and implement testing solutions.
  • First-class engineering discipline to translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of Application Support and Development processes.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary between £30,000 - £45,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • A bonus opportunity of 8% of annual salary, based on performance and Aviva's targets.
