Bid and Sales Coordinator

Purpose of the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven individual to join our Bid Team as a Bid and Sales Coordinator. This key role involves acting as a point of contact for requests into the bid team, ensuring timely and effective handling. You will also support colleagues in producing and submitting bid responses, as well as managing our central library of bid content.
As a Bid and Sales Coordinator, you will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working independently and as part of a team. You will have a strong eye for detail and be able to juggle multiple tasks to deadline.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the central Bid Team mailbox
- Monitor online tender portals for new opportunities
- Track and log new opportunities and tender documents
- Attend weekly bid qualification calls and follow up on actions
- Assist in the completion and submission of bid responses
- Manage a central bid library
- Maintain and update electronic portal supplier registrations
- Coordinate colleague attendance at supplier events and webinars
- Contribute to company-wide projects as required
- Stakeholder management skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload effectively
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in using SharePoint and Salesforce is advantageous but not mandatory
