Rotational Dietitian

About the Role
University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Rotational Dietitian to join our team. As a Rotational Dietitian, you will work within the acute and community dietetic teams, providing a dietetic service to patients and contributing to the delivery of a Trust-wide dietetic service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of dietetic service to patients through comprehensive assessment, planning, and monitoring of patient requirements using evidence-based practice.
- Work effectively as an individual and/or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate accurately in writing and/or verbally with other health professionals.
- Adapt to changing demands of the job to provide a dietetic service in the absence of co-workers.
- Develop and apply knowledge in specialist areas, under the supervision of a senior dietitian.
Requirements
- BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
- HCPC Professional registration
- Proven knowledge of anthropometry, biochemistry, pharmacology to undertake a full nutrition assessment
- Competence in calculating basic nutritional requirements
- Competence to practice in a basic range of clinical conditions
