Job Description
We are currently recruiting for freelance interpreters to work within various settings, including healthcare, education, and government. As an interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English and another language, and have relevant formal qualifications, such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or equivalent. A strong understanding of local laws and regulations is also desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and video conferences with clients
- Provide accurate interpretations of languages
- Liaise between service users and service providers
Compensation: Our interpreters earn £25-£30 per hour, depending on their experience and qualifications. With an estimated 20 hours of work per week, this translates to a yearly income of £52,000 - £62,400. Additionally, our interpreters enjoy flexible working arrangements, remote work options, autonomy as their own boss, access to ongoing training and support, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
