Job Overview
We are seeking a Freelance Interpreter to work with various clients across the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations.
As a Freelance Interpreter, you will be responsible for interpreting languages in various settings. You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting languages in various settings, such as face-to-face, telephone, and video conferencing
- Liaising between service users and service providers
- Providing accurate interpretations of languages
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and another language
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- You must be aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered is advantageous
Salary: £25-£30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include flexible working, working from home, being your own boss, ongoing help and support from our dedicated team, continuous professional development, and support. Estimated salary range per year: £52,000 - £62,400 based on 20 hours of work per week.
