We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our award-winning pub team in Elham. Working alongside the Executive Head Chef, you will be a key part of a successful venue with opportunities for further development.

This is a dynamic role for passionate individuals with at least 10 years of experience in professional kitchens offering high-quality fresh food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and management of kitchen staff
  • Development and implementation of menus and kitchen operations
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior chefs
  • Maintenance of high standards of food quality and service
  • Collaboration with the Executive Head Chef to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years experience in a professional kitchen offering high-quality fresh food
  • Competent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent butchery, fish filleting, and pastry skills
  • Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety (Level 3 preferred)
  • Full UK Driving License (Own transport essential)

What We Offer:

Competitive salary of £34,000-£37,000 DOE and additional £8,000-£10,000 pa tips.
