Job Title: Field Operations Executive

ASCO Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising our quayside operations and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily work plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and instruction to Quayside Operatives to ensure compliance with ASCO's Global Lifting Plan and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Monitor and resolve issues affecting successful delivery of the daily plan, ensuring operational activities meet client contractual agreements and obligations.
  • Identify productivity issues and provide resolutions where appropriate.
  • Ensure all ASCO Quayside fuel and lube, tank cleaning and bulk operations are compliant with ASCO policies, procedures, work aids and legislative requirements.
  • Assess risk for all operational activities in line with HSE Guidelines and manage ASCO's Permit to Work to support the execution of work across the site.
  • Act as the initial Emergency Response Team Lead for all Quayside emergencies, ensuring incidents and accidents are highlighted and reported in accordance with ASCO procedures.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers and vendors.
  • Effective negotiating skills with the ability to influence and challenge people at all levels.
  • Adapts to short timescales/changing deadlines, liaising with multiple sources, ensuring high standards are not compromised under pressure.
  • Solutions based with strong analytical, planning and organising skills, and an excellent attention to detail.
  • A team contributor with the ability to work stand-alone, demonstrating initiative and ownership.
  • Supervisory experience with a professional, consistent approach to the management of people.
  • Continuously promotes a pro-active HSEQ culture, ensuring participation and compliance, and a practical understanding of accident/incident investigations.
  • Well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite and experience of in-house systems.
