We are a leading provider of payroll services to schools and academies, and we are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately processing payroll data, reconciling reports, and delivering payrolls to schools.
  • Processing statutory forms, including P45s, Starter Declarations, Student Loans, P60s, and P11d's.
  • Calculating salary adjustments, such as back pay, overpayments, leavers, annual leave, and other occasional manual payments.
  • Applying statutory provisions, including PAYE, National Insurance, Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Adoption Pay, Student loans, and Attachment to Earnings Orders.
  • Handling payroll-related inquiries from third parties, including correspondence with statutory bodies.
  • Demonstrating previous experience in end-to-end payroll management and processes.
  • Possessing excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Displaying strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented capabilities.
  • Exhibiting exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff at all levels.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and meeting tight deadlines.
