Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and facility activities, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, balancing hands-on work with delegation and empowerment of team members.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure strong support and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage all aspects of engineering, from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, driving productivity and product quality.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Oversee the site T-card reporting system and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Develop new health and safety policy procedures in line with regulations.
- Conduct in-house training sessions on best practices and safe systems of work.
- Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are consistently upheld.
- Electrical and mechanical installation experience.
- Experience working in a FMCG environment.
- Good knowledge of food safety expectations.
- Experience in inspection and audit.
- Ability to deliver effective training.
- IT literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
