About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality individualized care and treatment to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, care planning, and care delivery to a defined caseload of service users.
  • Lead and manage a team of junior nursing staff, providing supervision, appraisal, and leadership.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to implement patient care and ensure timely progress through the service.
  • Support the development of clinical pathways and evidence-based models of care.
  • Ensure that care activities are research-based and in keeping with changes in the field of activity.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) qualification.
  • Enhanced knowledge and understanding of CPA, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberties.
