About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Telent Technology Services Limited as a Quantity Surveyor, working on a variety of projects across the UK's mobile network operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue monthly client applications for payment in accordance with contracts and ensure timely certification and payment by clients.
  • Administer contracts, including support from commercial teams.
  • Report monthly on cost/value reconciliations.
  • Support project managers in preparing claims for delay and associated quantum.
  • Work with project managers to prepare and present monthly contract reviews to senior management teams.
  • Manage payments and commercial relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Interpret drawings to establish costings and provide estimates where required.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Wireless Telecoms industry or a similar field.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, estimating, cost control, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ideal experience working in the Mobile Network Operators sector, with knowledge of the industry.
  • Qualifications to degree level or equivalent.
  • Working towards APC for MRICS or ACIOB chartership.
  • Commercial awareness and competent user of Microsoft Office package.
