Commercial Quantity Surveyor Role



ARV Solutions Contracts is looking for an experienced Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. As a Commercial Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in overseeing construction contracts and ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.



Responsibilities




  • Producing high-quality CVRs (Commercial Valuation Reports) to a tight deadline;
  • Liaising with production, logistics, and site teams to ensure conformance to programme and contractual commitments;
  • Working with both JCT and NEC forms to ensure accurate and timely submission of contractual documents;
  • Reviewing client and sub-contractor contracts to manage risk and opportunity;
  • Producing cost and variation reports as required to support commercial decision-making;
  • Managing a main contractor and developer client group to build relationships and protect ARV Solutions Contracts' contractual position;
  • Working closely with pre-construction teams to ensure accurate handovers and variation reporting structures.


You will be ideal for this role if you have:




  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field with RICS accreditation;
  • C. 5 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial quantity surveying role;
  • Experience working as a subcontractor's quantity surveyor;
  • A full driver's license to enable travel to site locations and offices as required;
  • The ability to work from home with occasional travel to sites or offices;
  • Diverse sector experience from contracting markets.
