About the Role

The Service Desk Engineer at AllPoints Fibre Networks Limited is the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues. This role is part of a collaborative IT department based in Exeter, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support to customers, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Handle first-line support inquiries, resolving issues related to Microsoft 365, cloud services, desktop support, and Microsoft applications.
  • Administer Active Directory, creating and managing user accounts and permissions.
  • Manage SharePoint and OneDrive, assisting with user access, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft applications used by the business.
  • Set up devices using Microsoft Autopilot and configure laptops, tablets, and mobiles for new starters.
  • Disable user accounts and devices in a secure and efficient manner.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of support interactions, resolutions, and system configurations.
