Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Pension Network Development Manager to join our Strategic Relationship team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the pensions market, including clients, professional connections, and other industry professionals.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement strategic networking plans to drive business growth and expansion
  • Host and attend key industry events, conferences, and awards nights to build brand awareness and establish thought leadership
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels, including business unit leads and other key stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and communication
  • Manage and lead on projects related to the Professional Trustee Group, including improving processes, leading meetings, and facilitating introductions
  • Work closely with the Systems team to ensure prioritization and actioning of new features and system improvements
  • Support the Head of Strategic Relationships and clients on the smooth running of the HRPTP (Hymans Robertson Professional Trustee Programme)
  • Lead on the organization and logistics for firm-wide graduate training and co-host F2F sessions across office locations
  • Be involved in multiple projects across the business throughout the year and input into scoping, prioritization, and management of these projects


Requirements


The ideal candidate will have relevant UK pensions industry knowledge or experience, as well as strong communication and presentation skills. They should be able to present to large groups and lead meetings with people at all levels, including senior stakeholders and decision makers. Excellent listening skills and a good memory for detail are also essential. Additionally, they should have exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams. Knowledge of CRM systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics, would be highly beneficial. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint, is also required. Experience of dealing with clients, consultants, professional connections, and other stakeholders in a sensitive, diplomatic, and professional manner is necessary.
