Job Overview

This Band 6 post offers a unique opportunity to join our team as an Infant Feeding Service Lead. You will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of high-quality safe care to women and babies across tongue tie and infant feeding services.

The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with various agencies, influencing policies that enhance health. A sound knowledge of the Baby Friendly Initiative is essential, with the ability to support birth parents in initiating and maximising lactation and progressing to responsive oral feeds.

The Infant Feeding Service Lead will lead on and participate in clinical audits, resolve complaints within the clinical specialty, and aid with statistical data collection and proposal of policy changes to support the team.

Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Evidence of personal development and transferable skills relevant to the job description.
  • Understanding of current issues affecting the NHS and BFI.
  • Experience of initiating and participating in clinical audit and research.
  • Current NMC registration.
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate development at Level 6.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £44,766 - £70,408 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including annual leave, pension scheme, and life assurance.
